Landscape Metalwork
Irish Life Centre
Fabworx most prestigious project to date details over 800 meters of powder-coated aluminium planter edging in straight, curved, and corner sections. Featuring ten bespoke modular planters, four linear benches that seamlessly extend from the planters, and a striking curved triangular seating arrangement spanning nine metres while encircling the roof light well, these open spaces create a welcome retreat designed for relaxation, connection and movement breaking from the productivity of its surrounding city architecture.
Featured elements deliver strength and longevity with internal structural bracing while shaping the form, detail, and character of the new landscape design at Irish Life Centre.
Working from the Landscape Architect’s drawings, Fabworx collaborated closely with both the Landscape and Construction teams to finalise engineering solutions, finishes, and installation. Once Fabworx shop drawings were approved, fabrication commenced in phased stages to align with the on-site construction schedule. All products were powder coated finish to QUALICOAT standards, the benches were assembled using individually crafted Iroko hardwood prior to delivery and installation.
The project is due for completion early 2026.

The Leaf
This monumental 8 metre leaf sculpture began its journey in Fabworx workshop, offered as a vision in the form of a hand-sketched design. The sketch was
masterfully transformed into precision laser-cut designs by the Design Team. Liam and the Fabrication Team meticulously engineered and assembled each component, ensuring exceptional structural integrity and artistic detail. From the very first consultation, safe handling, transport, and installation were central to the project’s planning. Every stage was calculated to achieve flawless placement and faithful realisation of the vision and aspiration for its erection in a private arboretum in the West of Ireland. The result is a striking fusion of craftsmanship, engineering, and landscape art – an enduring testament to what Corten Steel can achieve in sculptural and architectural form. We call it Engineering Creativity.
